Butch
About...
Butch is one of 5 in a litter [his brothers Pablo, Vincent, Roman, and his little sister Mila]. He's a large cat, and he might be fine as an only cat, but he's never been alone, so I can't be sure. Butch is used to living in a stress-free, calm-to-quiet environment. No screaming people, loud crazy kids, or anything like that. He heard my dog bark twice for protection and he FLEW to a hiding spot. If Butch could speak English, I'm pretty sure he asked, "What's happening!?"
He cuddles! Butch is super laid-back, and he loves affection. There are a two occasions that left me with the impression that he's really doesn't like change, so keep that in mind. He's on the needy side of interaction. And, he's a talker! He's into playing with his friends, and he usually tries to cuddle my large, calm dog, but he gets bit carried away and may start to nibble-turn-bite her paws, so he needs to be monitored because he's doesn't really take 'no' for an answer. Butch has no medical problems, but I suspect he is on the edge of being asthmatic. He doesn't have trouble often, but over the course of time, I've given him a shot of his brother's inhaler twice, so I believe he'd do best in a low-dust area, low dust litter, and/or with a guardian who's a clean-freak like me. His colors are tabby, gold, hints of white and brick: brick colored nose. He's got a three-ring eyeliner [black, gold, and white] , super soft, short, thick fur, and he's pretty lightweight for his large frame. Butch is a super awesome guy. He chit chats, loves dogs, other cats, and doesn't need much monitoring other than a time out for those who need personal space. He'll want to groom you while you try to rest. Did I mention how much he loves to cuddle? He LOVES to cuddle. He'll be okay with any one of his siblings, but he might be just fine as a single cat, so long as he gets a ton of affection.

How I found him...
I was called out by a local pet supply store who found a litter of kittens and a mom behind their warehouse. We set a trap for the mom, and caught her... twice! But, there was man who assumed the trapped mom was in need of saving, so he hopped the property fence each night to let her out, and then he took only one of the kittens for himself: Roman. I found the guy, and told him we were not there to harm the family, but help them, and to please stop releasing the mom. He agreed, but it was too late. It would be another year before she would go into another trap. I never knew what happened to Roman, but Butch & his siblings came home with me. They're beautiful, sweet, and very loving. Now, Butch is ready & waiting for his Guardian... his person... his home.
